Learning is a big part of my life and my identity, and I like to think that many of my hobbies and interests reflect that. I’m also a big believer in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and I’ve have a page with all the software that I’ve used here on my website.

My largest passion is learning new things, and as such I’m often buried it a book - either physically or on my laptop. You can find my reading list as another page on this site, which contains many books that I have read all, part of, or just that I’m planning on reading. These books are primarily mathematics, and even more primarily abstract algebra - which is one of the largest joys of my life. The books that I am currently reading are

I also read a lot of fantasy and science fiction in my younger years, and I still occasionally read philosophy and politics, as they are incredibly rich subjects with unending literature both from professionals and amateurs. (I encourage you to read more magazines!)

I’ve built my own desktop computer to be powerful enough to modern graphics rendering and small enough to fit in a backpack - all on a college students budget. I’ve also tacked on some extra accessories I’ve taken from other old computers such as a CD-player and multimedia drive.

Apart from these, I’m often skateboarding around given it’s not too rainy, and I also play videogames on occasion (much less than I used too though). I also will happily dive into any interest-of-the-week, as I love exploring new topics, whether academic or otherwise.
